Mackenzie Wyatt

Mackenzie Wyatt graduated with Highest Honors in the NBB major in May 2016. Her work with Dr. Sam Sober blended her interests in music and neuroscience to help create a better understanding of how we detect and adjust to errors in our actions.

Trinity Kronk

Trinity Kronk graduated in May 2016 with an NBB major and she discovered her passion for research after a chance encounter on an airplane. Her strong work in the NBB499 Undergraduate Research class led to her writing and being awarded a highly competitive SIRE Independent Grant which helped fund her work in the lab.

Dr. Lena Ting

Dr. Lena Ting is one of the many outstanding faculty mentors who work with our NBB majors. Our faculty mentors come from dozens of schools and departments across the university and they support students in all stages of their research careers from basic work-study positions, to introductory projects, to award-winning senior theses!

Dr. Leonard Howell

Dr. Leonard Howell has been a research mentor for NBB students since the major was founded in 1998. Dr. Howell and his team at the Yerkes National Primate Center have offered oportunities for our students gain first-hand experience working with non-human primates on understanding the neurobiological mechanisms of addiction as well as highlighting the importance of nonhuman primates as a model system in translational medicine.
