Video 8.6 Desheathing. Grasp the sheath near one of the nerves that leave the ganglia and cut into the sheath above the nerve. Pull the sheath up and slide scissors under the sheath before cutting. This maneuver will separate the sheath from the ganglia and keep the cuts shallow.
